IMPORTANCE OF SERVICING AIR CONDITIONERS IS NOW MORE IMPORTANT THAN EVER
Air conditioners that have not been serviced can be the largest contributor to dispursing mould throughout a property, so we again strongly suggest all our clients take the opportunity to have these systems serviced

HOWEVER, THERE IS ALWAYS GOOD NEWS
The use of Air Conditioners is a way to assist with managing the moisture in the air, and with the temperature currently not warm enough to have a system set to cooling. We have an opportunity to keep them on Dry mode

The functionality of Dry mode is such that the fan inside the unit will still continually, but it won’t be blowing out any cool air. It doesn’t replace a dehumidifier as it won’t eliminate all moisture from the room, but keeps it at a comfortable level whilst having room air passed over the coil which will capture moisture from the air.

The dehumidification process that occurs in dry mode strives to keep indoor air at an optimum humidity level, it can help alleviate common allergy and asthma triggers like mould, mildew and dust mites, which thrive in an excessively humid environment. High humidity can aggravate these symptoms and can even make a usually healthy person ill

The process of Dry mode will not remove all moisture however reduce the amount and be treated as a tool to assist with moisture removal.

Hope this helps :) and if you have any more questions please do not hesitate to let me know

Regards,
Marco
